Joseph Cavalieri

Joseph Cavalieri’s aim is to merge contemporary imagery with the time-honored processes of painted, stained glass, a material with a powerful spiritual history. Cavalieri is an award winning native New York artist and educator. His work is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Arts and Design, the Italian American Museum, the Leslie-Lohman Museum, the Stax Museum, and in the collections of Simpson’s writers in Los Angeles and the collection of movie director Morgan Spurlock. He has collaborated with illustrator Robert Crumb, and artists Alpha and Chris Hipkiss.

He has produced many private and public art commissions including an MTA Arts for Transit Public Art installation at the Philipse Manor Train Station in Westchester, New York. See more about Joseph and his work at Cavaglass.com
