Writing a 10-Minute Play
With Kate Snodgrass
October 4 - 10, 2026
The ten-minute play is the ode/short story of the Theatre, and it’s a true community-builder. Like a box of crackerjacks—we can’t “eat” just one. If you’re a Teacher or a Church Program Director or just a lover of Theatre, in this safe place we may explore family connections, we might bring historical events and Bible stories to life, and certainly we will talk about comedy and tragedy and everything in between. In class we will read short plays, discuss, and write short scenes culminating in a ten-minute play. Both beginners and experienced writers are very welcome.
