Hike the Harmonies

Come and experience this unique “jam with the land” as we hike and explore rare sites of Ghost Ranch and the surrounding area with Connie B. Burkhart. Step into the light and free your soul in the wilderness during one of the most beautiful times of the year. We will hit the trail and walk into the stories of the land with geology, archaeology and history that make this region so unparalleled. Our journey will give time to listen to the song Creation sings as we rest near the trickle of sacred water in an arroyo or hear the wind as it passes under the wings of a canyon wren. Gather on the final evening for the Bluegrass Camp concert surrounded by the red cliffs of the ranch. Participants should be able to walk up to 1 – 4 miles at 6,500 ft in elevation on uneven terrain. We will pack a sack lunch for two of our adventures, returning to the ranch around 3pm. Our time out in the wilderness will not be about getting from point A to B, but enjoying the journey as we go and taking time to listen to the harmonies of the land and sky.
