With KB Jones
July 5 - 11, 2026
This workshop is for all levels. Demonstration and instruction will be given to the group at the beginning of each day, followed by substantial time to work independently, with optional one-on one-guidance. Lectures and critiques will be provided, and we will look at a wide variety of inspiration, from traditional landscape painting, to early animation, to Japanese prints. Artists with a history of work in New Mexico, such as Susan Rothenberg, Agnes Martin, and Bruce Nauman will also be discussed. Students will leave the course with several finished pieces.
